RADIO LOVE MATCH

A collaboration between Andrea Zavala and Sigrid Stigsdatter.

Between November 2017 and February 2018 Andrea and Sigrid began Radio Love Match, a research performance where they use the format of a podcast to talk about image as sound production, and sound in the context of image production. They departed from observing the affect of what exposing their bodies either in the theater or in the streets means. “We question what the difference is between being looked at (public spaces) and choosing to be looked at (on stage, on social media, with friends...). “
They bring into practice what it means to work on a friendship in the studio and on stage. Being with each other and make the action between them the concept of the work.
